Moab Century Tour 2006

The Moab Century Bike Tour
To Benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation

October 5-7, 2007

 

All rides and events begin at host hotel, the Moab Valley Inn
711 S. Main Street

 

This event kicks off at 2pm Friday with a Social Warm-up Ride followed by a delicious Pasta Dinner!
Saturday's rides start at 8am - choose one of 3 rides (below). All rides finish at Swanny City Park, with lunch provided from 12-5pm by the Slickrock Cafe.
On Sunday, meet up at 10am for a 30-mile recovery ride beginning at the Slickrock Cafe, 5 Main Street.

 

 

45 Mile Route—The Cruise

Follows scenic highway 128 on an out-and-back course. Be prepared for a surprise on your return from town as the view is different and fresh. Terrain is rolling hills with great social spinning.

65 Mile Route—The Classic

Follows the La Sal Loop, includes a challenging 3,000 foot climb. An extra Aid Station and sag wagon will be available.

100 Mile Route—The Ultimate

Following on the heels of the LaSal Loop 65-mile route, this tour offers an additional 35 miles at the completion of the descent from the mountains. The Century option route travels up the canyon along the Colorado River to the historic Dewey Bridge as a turn-around point.
