Obviously, fancier cakes will need to be ordered more in advance than smaller or plainer cakes. Cake bakers are few and far between in Moab. We do know of some cake bakers who prefer not to advertise; if you are struggling to find someone, please ask us for assistance.

If you need a large or fancy cake, you might talk with your favorite baker about how to ship it to Moab. There are a few bakeries out there who will provide this service. Make arrangements in advance for cake pick-up, and be sure to confirm with both the bakery and the recipient a few days before the wedding.

Our story: We actually ordered a small wedding cake about 2 months prior to our wedding via an on-line service. It arrived the day before, in absolutely deplorable condition. The service had not done their research, and we were hitting dead ends. After talking more with some locals, they unanimously recommended the local supermarket! Their bakery was outstanding to work with, and they bent over backwards to help us on very short notice. Since then, the bakery that created the 'disaster cake' has gone out of business, and lucky you! - there are a couple more options in Moab now.
