If you're planning to travel elsewhere for your honeymoon, we recommend you take at least one day off after your wedding in order to rest and relax. You might also allow a bit of extra time to meet with relatives or friends you haven't seen in a while. We found that many of our guests wanted extra 'alone time' with us following our wedding.
