Chances are good that your photographer or videographer will need to travel to Moab for your wedding day. Be sure to discuss things like mileage fees and duration of services. I recommend keeping the timeframe rather loose...you don't want to be rushed to meet your photographer's deadline, trust me!

Another alternative is to enlist guests to take their own pictures, preferable digital so you can edit them and post to the web, if you like. We didn't have a formal wedding party, so this was a great way to make the guests feel included. Two family members later presented us with beautiful photo albums of our special day. It was really quite a lovely gesture, and we enjoyed the candid photos. Besides, the scenery in Moab is so gorgeous, it's hard to go wrong!
