Once your invitations
go out, you might consider creating a wedding
web site. This is particularly useful for
destination weddings, since everyone will
need maps and directions, as well as hotel
information. We created our own wedding
web site, which held so much more information
than a traditional invitation ever could.
If you do decide to create a wedding web
site, keep in mind that some of your guests
will not be web-savvy. They will still rely
on lots of phone calls, letters, and probably
also emails until they get all the details
straight. You may even get a surprise phone
call (or 2, or 3, or...) the night before
your wedding - or even the day of - from
web-challenged guests who found Moab, but
are confused about everything else (despite
all of your efforts). Bring your cell phone,
stay cool, and be willing to do (or delegate)
a little hand-holding, and you will be just
fine! |
