If your guest
list starts magically growing - and many
do, as work piles up and time seems to slip
away, you might consider buying some wedding
planning software to help organize the details
of your event.
We had a small wedding, however, since
it took place a few hundred miles from our
home I found it useful to create a wedding
binder. I used tab dividers to separate
each important category or vendor, and put
sticky notes inside each category which
listed questions for the vendors, most of
whom we sat down with in person. I also
put legal documents and a contact list inside
the front sleeve for easy access.
For any destination wedding, I recommend
arriving a couple days early. This gives
you time to call or visit vendors for last-minute
confirmations (in Moab, a personal visit
goes a long way). It also gives both of
you some time alone to relax and pamper
yourselves before the big day! |
