Many people
arrive in Moab from out of
state (or out of the country!)
by flying into Salt Lake City
airport. For those who live
in Colorado, northern Arizona,
or those who are just itching
for a great road trip, Moab
is easiest to find via I-40
or I-70. Below are some driving
directions that we hope will
assist you in planning your
trip.
From Salt Lake City
airport to Moab (~240 miles/4.5
hours):
Take I-80 East to I-15 South
Follow I-15 South for approx.
50 miles (past Provo, towards
Spanish Fork)
Take Hwy 6 East (towards Price)
for approx. 56 miles
At the intersection of Hwy
6 and Hwy 191, take Hwy 191
South for approximately 71
miles
Take I-70 East (towards Green
River) for about 24 miles
Take exit 180/Hwy 191 south.
Follow approx. 32 miles to
Moab.
From Flagstaff/Northern
Arizona (I-40) area (through
scenic Monument Valley):
From I-40 , take Highway
89 north towards Kayenta.
Take Hwy 163 north through
Monument Valley.
Take Hwy 191 north to Moab.
From the Denver area
and I-70:
Take I-70 West to exit 180/Hwy
191 south. Follow approx.
32 miles to Moab. Alternately,
take one of the two Cisco
exits (204 or 214) and follow
the signs to Moab. This route
will take you down beautiful
Highway 128.
