Prior to launching moabweddings.com, she spent 5 years with AT&T and Agilent Technologies. At these companies, she coordinated many corporate events, from annual and seasonal meetings to off-sites and teambuilding events. Joelle currently works for the Law School at University of Colorado in Boulder, where she plans numerous student events large and small, as well as meetings and travel.

She also planned (with David's help) a Moab Wedding in September of 2004, which was the inspiration for this web site.

Joelle enjoys crunching numbers, adolescent and geeky humor, and crafty wordsmithing not unlike that which you see on moabweddings.com. She also speaks German and Czech fluently, and has a working knowledge of Russian and Spanish. Joelle is originally from Butler, PA and has spent time in Monterey, Texas, Massachusetts, Germany, Pittsburgh, Colorado Springs, and Denver. Her latest project is building a national directory of wedding services on wedding-board.com.
